Maggie's hair is finally long enough for pigtails....now if only she would leave them in for more than 2 minutes!

But at least I was able to get a picture!

Jump jump jump!

Maggie's been going to gymnastics class once a week, and she LOVES it! Her grandma came along the other day, so I was able to take some pictures. The light in there isn't great, and Maggie was constantly in motion, so most of them turned out like this:


But I still managed to get a few good ones:






As much as she loves climbing and jumping, her favorite part of class may be getting her hands stamped at the end. Here she is waiting expectantly:

One of Maggie's favorite pastimes lately is playing with my hair accessories. She sometimes ends up with some interesting hairstyles!




She's ready for a night out on the town...or a snack on the porch. :)

Trip to the Fair

On Sunday afternoon, we visited the Upper SC State Fair! It was lots of fun. The highlight of the day for Maggie: a pony ride! She LOVED it.





We also had fun at the petting zoo and in the agricultural area. Maggie got a lesson in how to feed goats:


And then she got a hug!


And a kiss from a calf!

Maggie was too short for most of the rides, but there were a few she could go on, if accompanied by an adult. Patrick got to take her on this bug ride -- fun!

We had a great time, but I'm looking forward to next year, when she'll be tall enough to go on more rides!
