This is, by far, the hardest Maggie has ever laughed. Who knew counting was so funny???

Patrick, Maggie, and I went to Atlanta this past weekend to visit our friends Sona and Shan, and we had a great time! We ate tons of good food, went to a festival, and just hung out and enjoyed catching up. Shan is a master photographer and took lots of fabulous photos while we were there. He's graciously allowed me to share them with you, so here you go (plus a few that I took). And there are more to come when I get Maggie's 6-month post written and posted (hopefully in the next day or two).

A not-so-new look
Anyone else beginning to see a pattern here?

What will it be next? Let us know if you have any requests. :)

We're back!
The house is empty no longer. :)
Maggie and I had a great Easter in the Lowcountry. I'm terrible about taking pictures while we're traveling, so I don't really have pictures from our Easter to share, unfortunately. Maggie slept through all the festivities this year! Next year I'm sure she'll be more involved, to put it mildly. Here is one from Sunday. Maggie had a good time -- can you tell?

Festivals!
Patrick is out of town, so Maggie and I have been making an effort to get out and about this weekend. Luckily, there happened to be not one, but two festivals going on here. The nearby town of Pendleton had their annual Spring Jubilee, and Clemson University had their annual International Festival. Maggie had a great time -- she loves watching people, and smiling at them, so there was a lot for her to see and do at both. :) I don't have a lot of pictures because Maggie was in the baby Bjorn pretty much the entire time, which does not make for easy picture-taking. But we did sit on the grass for a bit at the International Festival today, where I took these.

There's really no need for me to bring any toys for Maggie as long as I have my Nalgene bottle with me. She loves this thing!
Maggie discovered grass! And she hated it. You can't really tell, but she's crying her eyes out here. I had a hard time getting a good angle on her face to capture the anguished expression (I was kind of rushed as I felt like I should rescue her!)

Bathing beauty
Maggie still loves bathtime! I think it may well be her favorite part of the day. She's getting a little big for her infant tub -- and she's getting really good at splashing us and getting water all over the kitchen. :) As soon as she masters sitting up, I think we're going to have to move her baths into the big baby tub in the bathroom. Our little baby has grown so much! She's come a long way since our last bathtime post.
